Thank you so so so much for viewing and reading!!! m(_ _)m
Thank you, everyone, for your kind support and encouragement...!!! Anime Weekend Atlanta 2010 Artist Alley was AMAZING with everyone visiting - may God bless you all!!
Drawn as a character design reference for the Nevermore OCT (Original Character Tournament!) I'll make her more fancier for the manga if I can!
I'm always learning new "don'ts" - please see how your colors will look like when printed, particularly when you are printing three hours before the anime convention finishes its first day and you haven't picked up your artist passes yet!! Forevermore's face (in this picture) turned out hot red in the first few prints...
I got my (meager) drawings printed at Office Depot; both of them were drawn in Photoshop CS3 (JPEGs were sent to print.) The lady at Office Depot was so kindly and careful - she'd run prints of everything to make sure I liked them first and after I reviewed them, she'd run the masses of prints afterwards, quickly reprinting anything that came out smeared or with non-sticking toner again; she only charged me for what I ordered and not for the extra prints.
PROTIP: if you bring your own paper to Office Depot, they only charge you for the printing process and not the paper! It's not commonly stated but Office Depot has 11" x 17" heavyweight paper that is ever so slightly glossy on which inks show up surprisingly vibrant - you walk in with your art on a flash drive and they'll pull them up, printing your arts' entireties (no need to add padding to pictures in fear of cropping.)
PROTIP: Speaking of cropping, CVS photo centers will automatically (without request) review all your pictures, touch up colors/exposure/etc. occasionally, and then crop images before printing! Watermarks on edges may be lost or cut in half.
Thank you so much for viewing...
